The Christ Slayer is an excellent adventure that lacks any type of feel that you're being preached at throughout the movie. It is entertaining enough to watch as a stand-alone movie howrver, it being the 3rd installment of The Quest Trilogy, I definitely have to rank this one above each one of the rest.
THE CHRIST SLAYER is a historical fiction movie which follows the story of a blind centurion named Longinus, who pierced Christ’s side at the site of His crucifixion. Longinus travels in a fruitless attempt to escape the unexplained guilt of “Slaying Christ” and the nickname of “Christ Slayer.”
The Christ Slayer follows the Passover story of Jesus from a unique viewpoint, as we follow the actions and interactions of Longinus, the Roman soldier who put the spear to Jesus side on the cross.
